In October 2010, Louisville launched an effort to increase college attainment by 55,000 college degrees by 2020. They called it
55,00 Degrees, and it represented a collaboration between partners in higher education, K-12, foundations, community organizations, and business.
"It's audacious. It's

Emily Cole of The Civic Commons interviewed Zandona by Skype. Tune in for a discussion of how partnerships were forged in Louisville, particularly with the business community, and the challenges that the region has faced and overcome.
