If Jackson increased its college attainment rate from 29.3 to 30.3 percent, the region would capture a $386 million Talent Dividend. That's just 3,317 additional graduates.

The Mayor's office is leading Talent Dividend efforts in Jackson by building partnerships with local nonprofit agencies and school districts. They've also led the Jackson Promise Coalition to increase graduation rates. This program has been recognized by America's Promise Alliance, naming Jackson one of the "100 best communities for young people" for the last two years in a row.
