College attainment rates are high in Hartford, but that doesn't mean there isn't room for improvement. The MetroHartford Alliance is focused on helping adults with some college but no degree get back to school and finish. The Graduate CT program, modeled on Graduate Philadelphia, has helped over 200 adults return to school through counseling and information sharing. Hartford's efforts are supported by a business community that understands the importance of an educated workforce and provides some of the most comprehensive tuition reimbursement programs in the country.
