Unemployment numbers drop for college graduates

Good news for college degree holders, and a wake-up call for everyone else: Americans with a college degree are more than twice as likely to be employed than Americans with just a high school diploma, according to the latest report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Overall unemployment in the U.S. is slightly up, but the unemployment rate for college graduates is slightly down, from 4% to 3.9%. For those with only a high school degree, the numbers inched up from 7.9% to 8.1%.
